ARI Research Professor Recruitment (English Editing)


 


1. Outline


 


The ARI is looking for a research professor in charge of editing scholarly articles and documents in the field of East Asian studies.


 


The ARI was established as the very first university-affiliated research institute and has organized meaningful international conferences and published English books. Since the ARI was selected as a research institute for the Humanities Korea Project for regional studies in 2008, we organize one or two large-scale international conferences every year and have frequent contacts with leading research institutes in the world. Also, we invite four or five visiting scholars per year and sponsor foreign scholars studying East Asia for their book publications.

-       English editing in the field of Northeast Asian studies


 


3. Benefits


 


-       Position: Research Professor


-       Annual Salary: 24,000,000

4. Requirements


 


-       Master’s degree or doctoral degree from universities in the US or Britain


-       No disqualification according to employment rule of private schools and Korea University.


-       Favor experienced editor


 


5. Application Period

6. Screening Schedule

-       In reviewing applications, the fit between the ARI’s research agenda and candidates’ research interests will be importantly weighed.


-       Successful candidates will be individually contacted by the ARI after primary screening.

9. Notes


-       Insufficient applications may not be reviewed and submitted documents will not be returned.
