Since 2009, the Asiatic Research Institute (ARI) has regularly organized its community lecture series to disseminate its research findings to citizens. The ARI research team and other experts in Northeast Asia hold lectures to share and communicate their research with the general public. The lectures are based on a selection of interesting topics regarding Korea, China, and Japan with one topic being covered over 5-6 lectures. Since the beginning of the project to the present (May 2015), 7 topics have been discussed in 31 lectures. In the second stage of the project, 3 topics have been discussed over 14 community lectures, with nearly 1000 participants from the public. Hosting these lectures together with local community institutions, we hope even more people will join us.
