2011 ARI Monograph Series Support Project

2011 ARI Monograph Series Support Project

. Introduction

As a representative comprehensive research institute of Northeast Asian studies, the Asiatic Research Institute (ARI) has led Northeast Asian regional studies through interdisciplinary research. Since its founding in 1957, ARI has endeavored to determine the reality from the academic perspective and suggest a desirable future direction through systematic compilation of the products of its research such as Diplomatic Documents of the Late Joseon Dynasty, Communist Bloc Studies Series, Chinese Research Series, Korea-Japan Joint Research Series, and Democracy Series. Taking note of the practical meaning of Northeast Asian studies, ARI has invited manuscripts and published the ARI Monograph Series since 2009 with an aim to specialize Northeast Asian studies and expand their base.

We would like to ask for the active participation of scholars of humanities and social sciences.
