ARI invited Japanese Ambassador to Korea Masatoshi Muto as a speaker and held the 4th Colloquium. In his lecture, Ambassador Muto emphasized the need for new Korea-Japan cooperation in wide areas including history, culture, politics, and economy by stressing the East Asian context. Following the lecture, he had a serious and lively Q&A session in which he exchanged opinions in order to help build future bilateral relations.
