Asia] 2012 Summer School Globalization, Regional Governance, and
Sustainable Development in Asia: An Interdisciplinary Approach The Korean delegation includes three professors from Korea University (Prof. Lee Yong Wook, Prof. Hwang Jungmee, Prof. Son Key-young) and six graduate students (Kang Hyunmin, Kim Heeyun, Lee Jeongwon, Lee Yoonjung, Park Il Joo and Roh Seung Hwan). Prof. Son gave a lecture on "Globalization and Regional Governance" and held a discussion with students from the five East Asian universities. 3. Campus Asia-EAUI Program offered the 2012 Summer School at Waseda
University, Tokyo, from July 30 to August 3. The summer school was jointly organized
by 5 universities—Korea
University (Korea), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Peking
University (China), Thammasat University (Thailand) and Waseda University
(Japan). A group
of professors from the disciplines of Economics, Politics,
International Relations and Humanities and Social Sciences gave lectures under the theme of “Globalization, Regional Governance, and Sustainable
Development in Asia: An Interdisciplinary Approach.” Following the lectures, students gave presentations and held active discussions based on the lectures.
