Dr. Chalres Harns, the director of Migration Research and Training Center (MRTC) of International Organization for Migration (IOM), visited Asiatic Research Institute on May 4th, 2011. The Center was established in June 2009 under the agreement of the South Korean government and International Organization for Migration. Its works focus on policy studies and educational activities in the field of international migration. The meeing involved discussion over potential cooperation between the MRTC and the HK Center for Northeast Asian Studies' Division of Societies and Cultures.
