CAMPUS Asia Summer School Application
1. Theme 2. Outline 3. Schedule July 30 [Mon] Lectures, Reception (at night) Participating students are required to do group
presentation. (15-minutes presentation and Q&A session) 4. Venue: Graduate School
for Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, Tokyo
5. Qualifications: Master’s or doctoral students of Korea
University interested in the regional integration of East Asia and capable of
attending English lectures and making English presentations
5. Selection of 6 successful applicants
6. No tuition fee (organizers will pay for round-trip flight and
accommodation) 7. Application: Forms and documents should be submitted to the
administrative office of the Department of Politics and International Relations
8. Application deadline: June 11, 2012
9. Application documents: (1) Transcripts of BA and MA courses

Globalization, Regional Governance, and Sustainable Development in Asia: An Interdisciplinary Approach
Campus Asia-EAUI Program offers the Summer School by an omnibus form of 5
different universities - Korea University (Korea), Nanyang Technological
University (Singapore), Peking University (China), Thammasat University
(Thailand) and Waseda University (Japan)- based on the talks of the Summer
School Organizing Committee Meeting. Professors, who are active on the front
lines of the disciplines of Economics, Politics, International Relations and
Humanities and Social Sciences will give the lecture related the theme of
“Globalization, Regional Governance, and Sustainable Development in Asia: An
Interdisciplinary Approach” from new perspectives. Students are expected to
give presentations that will lead to active discussions based on the lectures
and cultivate their communication skills through talks among students from 5
different universities. Field Trip will be conducted during the Summer School.
