ARI Named Top Research Institute at Korea University

The Asiatic Research Institute (ARI) was selected as the best social science research institute at Korea University in the 2013 regular on-campus assessment.

The university's Division of Research evaluated the university’s affiliated institutes by three criteria: the organization and support system, research activity, and management. The evaluation took place in the categories of humanities, social science, science, engineering, and medical science. ARI was selected as the best institute in social science, showing unrivaled excellence in all three criteria.

ARI will accumulate research capability with a long-term perspective in order to live up to its reputation as the best research institute. Furthermore, ARI will endeavor to become a global research hub playing a leading role in Northeast Asian studies. Thank you.
