제3회 동아시아공동체포럼(EACF): The Formation, Evolution and Future of International Order in East Asia

3회 동아시아공동체포럼

27일의 동아시아공동체포럼의 준비회의와 28일의 본회의가 예정대로 토쿄대 코마바캠퍼스 18호관 대회의실에서 성황리에 진행되었다. 9명의 발표자는 70년대 동아시아국제관계의 형성을 시작으로, 냉전의 종식이 동아시아에 미친 영향과, 영토와 역사문제를 포함한 현안들에 대해 역사적이며, 이론적인 시각에서 각자의 연구논문을 요약해 발표했다. 마지막 라운드테이블에서는 한중일의 6명의 학자가 동북아의 여러 현안을 넘어 지역 공동체의 형성 가능성에 대해 의견을 개진했다. 1명의 발표자와 1명의 토론자가 개인사정으로 불참했지만 토론자가 발표자의 원고를 정리해서 발표함으로써 소기의 성과를 거두었다. 200명 정도의 일반 참가자들이 있었는데, 교수와 언론인도 다수 포함되어 토론과 질문의 기회가 주어졌다.

 

내년의 제4회 동아시아공동체포럼은 2014926-28일경에 북경의 칭화대에서 열릴 예정이다. 내년 회의에서는 현재의 정치적 현안을 다루는 동시에 한중일 자유무역협정(FTA)를 포함한 경제문제도 함께 다루어 나가기로 의견을 모았다. 발표된 논문의 출판에 대해서도 아연이 주도적인 역할을 하기로 의견을 모았다.
